“Norddeutsche Volkanfiber- und Formstückfabrik” founded by several partners

1936
100% ownership passed on to Grashorn family.

1942
Introduction of vulcanized fiber production and change of official name to “Vulkanfiberfabrik Grashorn & Co.”

1970
Extension of the production program to thermoforming.

1979
Takeover of “Stanzwerk Pilz” in Geldern.

1982
Change to “Grashorn & Co. GmbH”

1992
Implementation of the unique inline extrusion and thermoforming plant.

1997
Certification in accordance with EN ISO 9001.

2002
Certification in accordance with QS 9000 TES.
Bestowal of the Q1-Award by the Ford Motor Company

2005
75th company anniversary with around 85 employees and sales of approx. 11 million Euros

Foundation of Grashorn Polska Sp. z o.o. in Poland
